I went up to the MRSR for an all-day trip. I went on a shop tour, rode on a great train ride, and even got a short cab ride! This is part 1 of my video of my day up there. Oh, and it's HAMMOND Lumber Company #17, not HILLCREST. Sorry about that.

  • so any news on #11

  • @orangetrain66 I haven't heard anything, but you might ask fellow Youtube user ANDREWAMTRAK. I can't be sure, but I believe he's involved with MRSR.

  • poor old #11 whats wrong with her

  • As I recall, the boiler specifications changed right after she was restored, or something like that.

  • so will #5 ever run again

  • They're not really sure yet, but I'm pretty sure that she'll steam again one day.
