hey russ! I've been through the same difficulties you have. I too was on accutane at one time. It actually didn't get rid of my acne FOREVER (maybe because I wasn't great about taking it all the time), but did give me rather big advantage over it. What I've eventually found was that the oils from my hair and from my shampoo had a huge affect on my skin condition. The oil clogs pores and causes acne, but the shampoo has phosphates and nitrates which would also give me acne. So I cut my hair short

I get my worst acne on my scalp and forehead, definitely from all the oil and stuff up there. I've found that Head and Shoulders can help with scalp health, but I guess shaving it all off works too

I get the same rashes man. Mostly on my upper arms. Seems normal.... well as normal as a rash is :S
