Totally agree. Right from the start of the series and their very first scenes together, it was so obvious there were huge sparks of sexual tension and chemistry flying between these two. I suspect the producers know this perfectly well and have deliberately provided scant interaction between Jer&Ty on the show recently for fear of giving viewers any further hopes and ideas, or creating any buzz, about a romantic relationship between Jer&Ty as they want them perceived as straight only characters.

@justiniom03 I may be wrong but I think Forwood broke up (Caroline couldn't handle his being sired to Klaus?). I don't get to watch it very often but saw some clips on YT that would seem to indicate this. Anywho, if not for the stupid, idiotic producer who has said they're not gay, this development would give me hope. Somebody write a quality Jyler slash quick!

That's what i thought, but i recently read an interview with Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson, they said that there IS going to be gay characters, but it isn't going to be these two, they mean it would be "cliché".. Don't really get it, like at all..
