the biggest tune of 1988 by far was this one. A new generation of ragga was about to be unleashed on a fast dwindling dancehall fraternity. there are many versions but this is the one that tore up the place. if you like Clement irie's tune then go get the othe hit called BUN AND CHEESE

I'm from Panama, and I love old school dancehall reggae. It would be really difficult to select just 10 songs, as there are tons of artists with killer songs. Keep up bringing these mad songs !! Respect!!!

si señor yo tambien escucho bastante dancehall, es mas siempre bajo ese poco de canciones dificel de conseguir. Socio tu vives en panama, yo soy vecino de un man q se llama West Crew, tiene todas las plenas, ritmos y artistas montados en ritmos q en mi vida habia escuchado.

yo hablo espanol no te preocupes friend. lo que digo a esta gente es que esta es uno de las canciones classicas del dancehall que suenan bien duro en panama. si la pones en cualquier fiesta, festival, emisora etc. chuchi panama se viene abajo loco. Panama se enloquece con esa plena. y yo se que es un ritmo asesino. yo tengo ese ritmo en cassette. Clement irie es un artista clasico del dancehall.

Ragga sons like this influenced the ultra fast rapping style running from about 1989 thru like 1996. granted, artists like KRS one had started incorporating ragga into his songs about 1986. But he had incorporated the slower styles of his time (Shelly Thunder for example). I think people forget this.
