The Cruxshadows DragonCon 2007 "Deception"

I was surprised at how decent the audio is for this. Came out pretty well. This was violinist Rachel's last show with CXS.

During this song, a person in the audience went into an epileptic seizure due to the strobe lights. Seeing this, Rogue, the Cruxshadows' frontman, went into the audience on the other side from where the victim was, thus drawing the dense crowd away somewhat so the EMTs could have an easier time. "Now you know.....the REST of the story." :)

OMG!!! When he went into the audience, he almost stepped on me (I'm on the other side of him as he is stepping down)

I had NO IDEA that was why he went into the audience!!!

Rogue routinely goes out into the audience during "Deception" (as you may already know), but he chose the location because of the seizure.

That is awsome, thank you for that story. I was at Dragon Con, unfortunally we couldn't see the performace because it was packed all the way to the back and for some reason Dragon Con didn't turn on the large screens. But I got to meet the lead singer and my husband got an autograph for a friend at work. Rogue was very very very nice and even gave my husband a hug (wish I had my camera).

Hmmm, wait a week or two and then be sure to email the Dragon*Con office that you'd have liked to see the Cruxshadows' performance, but the big screens weren't working....this, for an event that they HAD to know would be drawing 2,000-2,500+.

The epileptic was probably my friend Flea... He was there at the con and I think he was at the concert. He's an avid CXS fan. Wouldn't be the first time this happened to the poor guy.

wow..that was awsome of Rogue. I cant wait to see them this year. this will be my first time to dragoncon and to see the CXS. Im excited about meeting them!

Yes, I knew he goes out in the audience during lots of songs (Charlottesville, he got on a ladder. Good thing the ceiling fan wasn't on), so, when he went out again, I thought he was just going out to dance or something. We had no idea that someone was having a seizure is my point.

I was there, left and came back (really, really had to pee) and it was easy to get in and get back in the crowd.

There was plenty of room. A lot of people, sure, but it wasn't remotely full. Towards the end, I stood on chairs in the back and watched.
