April 1969 Santa Monica blvd. P'J's club Los Angeles, one of LA's most prestigious, well-established nite-spots. Timi performed 3 weeks at P'J's and 3 nights were recorded. "Live at P'J's was withdrawn at the last minute. Around half the tracks would later appear on an off the wall 1976 release "The Timi Yuro album" a real collectors 'item.Timi is backed by a tight Stax sounding house band, and she performs with her customary passion. Timi no longer in our world, had been ill for many years with troat cancer and was never able to record after the early 80's. Live at P'J's serves as a reminder of that loss, and the only recorded testament to her live performances during her heyday.
