Epic Stopmotion Battle: Lego Megaman vs Cat

This is a stopmotion animation created in Lego merged with "real" footage. The Lego Megaman fights his way through rooms to face the Fuzzy Cat in an epic battle.

This video contains no screenshots of a Megaman game. The figure is animated from a photographed series of Lego-built movements and all graphics have been reconstructed to resemble the look of the game.

The music consists of Garageband loops which are used in accordance to The GarageBand software license agreement.

The music during the stage are produced and used with permission by Nathan Wills

MM2 and 3 are really the only acceptable answers...

And I hate how you didn't use 8-bit music. And the color scheme is off, unless he's using a weapon that looks exactly like the mega buster.

@MrDoomMoose well, Lego only comes in so many colors. Also, I couldn't use copyright music so a friend supplied me with some of his music. It'd be so much easier to just do it in After Effects but butt

I've seen pretty much perfect lego sprite arts of megaman, did they paint them or something?

@MrDoomMoose I'd think so, but on the other hand, these pieces I used, I grew up with, so it's some 25 years old and I haven't actually bought any Lego since. Also, you can build things using the computer which would give you more color options.

Very smooth! I liked that! But I would've loved for it to be even longer as well. Hehehe. Rereating a whole Mega Man stage with real life backgrounds and alternative stuff to make up the obstacles during the stage would've been fun.

Oh and btw, Capcom liked this as well :)

Megaman is my favorite side-scrolling series ever!

Megaman 3, Megaman 2, Megaman X and Megaman X4 are my favorites.

Really awesome video dude, thanks for making this. Don't listen to that dude saying only MM2 and 3 are at least acceptable, he's probably some Sonic fagboy. >_>
