I managed to get very close for this one! Taken with an Olympus 770. A fantastic night and end to a great tour. (This was my fifth S&G concert and their penultimate ever full concert!

Germans are too ham handed and loaded to appreciate Simon and Garfunkel, it seems to me...in USA, there is no screaming, out of sync clapping etc.....what a drag.

I was at three S&G concerts in Dec 2003 in NYC. The concerts were partly ruined because of people constantly getting up to get food, talking loudly to each other during even the quiet songs. The ever present sound of the huge american couple next to me litterly grazing on a bucket of popcorn and the guy to my left talking in his mobile phone during the entire concert. Guess it's the same the world over.

To be fair, this is an audience recording, and as such the audio is very good, and certainly not disastrous! If you believe this to be disastrous I would hate to imagine what you think of most offerings on youtube. Add to that the fact that this was an 80,000 venue, to get this close was pretty special and certianly helped. What a shame that sometimes on the negative aspects seem to be important.

News flash people! When you go to concerts.... people ARE going to sing along, dance, and clap their hands! If that's too much for you, then maybe you should just stay home and listen to them on cd... OR watch them on youtube and bitch about other people having a good time!!!!!!!

Auch ich war noch ein "kleiner Hüpfer" von knapp 10 Jahren, als ich heimlich die Simon & Garfunkel-LPs meines Vater's anhörte. ♥ Nie hätte ich gedacht, daß ich die beiden mal live sehen würde, aber im Sommer 2004 wurde genau DAS in München wahr! Und es war absolut kultig! : ) Unvergesslich!!!
