this is a very good video and a great song it reminds me of my ex girl friend that was killed by a drunk driver 12 years ago there is not a day gone by that i dont think of her,every time i see this video or hear this song it brings a tear to my eyes,thank you very much for the memories.

a song can turn into anything that you want it to. if it brings thoughts of someone who died, then let it. music is purely perception. so yes, the writer wrote it with a different meaning. but you can perceive it how you want to. :D
