Thanks for posting the video, it brings back so many fond memories. I remember going there practically every year as a kid and getting the cider, doughnuts and apples. Grandma would take some of those apples and make them into pies. I live in Ohio now and there's no cider mills close to where I live now.

So glad to see this!. I grew up on German Mill road(in the early sixties), right down the street from the Cider mill. What I wouldn't give for a bag of those doughnuts and a gallon of that wonderful cider...,and(while I'm at it), to be a barefoot kid running around Franklin again-What a sweet town to grow up in!

I don't live in Michigan anymore. Now, at least I can show my friends my favorite Cider Mill that I'm always talking about! THANKS SO MUCH for this special treat. My mouth is drooling!

When I was 12, I rode my bicycle to the Franklin Cider Mill from my home, down Northwestern Highway when it was being built. I lived in Oak Park at the time, so, if my memory serves me correctly, I must had ridden a good 10 miles or so. Loved that place, the cider, donuts, etc.

I appreciate your comments. Can you smell the Donuts and Taste the cider? If not? Get to Franklin and take care of that need.
Peace,
Dane
