NOTE: to reply to a comment, this is by NO means slash at all and I am NOT infering homosexuality. that is sick and wrongg and Aragorn and Legolas are not sick and wrong! they are best friends, brothers one might say, and as such would never violate each other in such a way, nor would either of them have suck sickening thoughts. Aragorn's first and ONLY love is Arwen. Legolas, on the other hand, is never recorded to have found the one he loves, but if he did it would undoubtedly be a female. and YEs, I WOULD actually be offended if you took this to be slahs. and if I offend any people by anything I have said, I am sorry our opinions differ but I will not take back a word of it.

@orangecrush0870, Gimli never left Middle-Earth, he died. Legolas remained in Middle-Earth until Aragorn's death, at which point Gimli was still alive. Gimli died later.

although I must say two things: I do believe that Gimli sailed with Legolas, who left after Aragorn's death. (although I'm not sure I'd call L and G "closer friends") and Second, I think that the Bible has a LOT to say about homosexuality. I'm not going to debate it here, but I don't know why you think that religion should be "left out" in discussions of slash. I agree with paws1958.

I love friendship between Legolas and Aragorn because I always prefer canon.So I like Aragorn/Arwen together and Legolas being single and independent.

But I can't agree that homosexuality is sick.To be gay is not sick.Homophobia is sick.

I really like the bit about "child of God, child of light", because if you really read Tolkien, that is what the elves (and men too, but especially the elves) were supposed to be. This video is beautiful and I love the song choice.
