  • This was one magical and damn good show. Excellent scripts and actors and actresses wonder and fantasy and we were blessed to have it all as long as we did. Sorry it didn't end in original form, with all the crew- but I remember Jan 's twinkle in his eye as he says to us: " Keep watching Airwolf on U.S.A. (cable) because in January, Something very special will happen" he smiles and it was an announcement for the 4 th season and the finding of ST.. John Hawke!

    I sat there grinning !

  • @clarencecmcgee Oh wow, very cool! Do you have a copy of that by any chance?! Check out my parody videos too. ;)

  • @shep2112 i ran across it here, on you tube the other day type in: usa cable airwolf promo

  • In the episode here it's John Bradford Horn's drugs nearly killing him.

In real life for Jan it's alcohol and, (hopefully not,) drugs. same results. Ruin and near death. String lives and bounces back and I hope Jan will continue on too.

When we someday lose this wonderful, gifted actor who knew a good script when he saw one, who could memorize lines and own them as few can in the biz.

I'll be feeling like Cate, shaking our hero and refusing to accept it, wanting him to wake up and live

  • This is how we all feel, us who love this show so much, every time we hear bad news about Jan.

Cate is not going to accept him dying on her. She's screaming: No, no no you don't. He is her hero, ours as well , her friend and somebody who saved her life, made it alive and worthwhile. Enabled her to be a hero too and to serve with people she loves and risks dying for. Hawkes death is beyond acceptability to her, and to us. String was a fighter for life and jan has to be also

  • Cait says, "NO! NO!! I thought it'd help you!! NO!!" The episode was "Horn of Plenty" (3rd season premiere) - Hawke had been kidnapped and brainwashed, and Caitlin and Dominic went to rescue Hawke -- Archangel gave them a drug to counteract the drugs, but warned them not to use it, as about 33% of the tests ended with the subject dying.

Caitlin used the drug, despite Archangel's warning, leading to the scene shown here. Fortunately, Hawke wasn't dead -- just unconscious.
