Not necessarily. But, I do like to think myself as smart. Nerds know a lot of info? So, I guess if you're not a nerd, you're uneducated? Hmm. I know Star Wars inside and out but I just appreciate film in general, as an art. I'm open to all kinds of films. But Star Wars is one of my favorites. I'm rambling here.

It's not really an insult. im guessing you called kids nerds when you were younger ( or probably til this day lol) and you think it's uncool. anywho, they call SW fans nerds because nerds know a lot of info and SW fans know a lot about the movie and when most of the fans talk about the movies, it sounds a bit nerdy. Like they are foaming at the mouth. lol
