Learn how to store a wet paint brush with these tips from Lowe's experts.

To store a wet paintbrush, wrap the brush in plastic wrap, aluminum foil, or a plastic bag. Get out as much air as you can. Place the paint brush in the refrigerator. Your paintbrush should be ready to go when you are ready to start painting again.

  • How did I get here? LOL

  • Great tip; I know people that have used this suggestion and it worked very well for them.

  • @Waremonger sounds like a good idea to me for a quick break when painting a project.

  • I'm pretty sure this is a horrible idea. That is, unless you want your food to taste like paint fumes.
