Aprilia reckons its new street supermoto, the Dorsoduro, is something of a beast so we sent MCN road tester Adam Child to ride it.

Chad travelled an hour north of Rome to take part in the world's first ride of Aprilia's new Shiver-derived street supermoto.

Watch the video below to see what he thought and read the full article in MCN, Wednesday, 30 April, 2008.

  • Why do journos tell us how a bike looks ?

We can fuckin see it ourselves and make our own mind up, you just need to tell us how it rides !!

  • Not sure about the front? What the fuck the front looks beautiful, the ducati looks like a fucking duck bill up front.

  • soo you sit there reviewing a aprilia with your ducati cap on..nice

  • @isleofit they teel us how it looks because they dont know how to ride to give you impressions

  • @isleofit And why do they never let us hear the sound of the engine with the bike still, just poping the gas a couple of times. Pretty simple but they never do, quite stupid and selfish if you ask me, because they can hear it an enjoy it but never remember to share it with us, the public.

  • i disagree the front looks great the exhaust are shit and ruin the rear end i want one so bad though shame its shit on fuel compared to most bikes of the same purpose

  • dear santa..

  • Cool Bike!

  • wish I could ride my dorso like that :-|

  • I have a gasgas ec250 01(and a aprilia) and its elextronics are ok,except the fact that it tends to burn the lightbulbs...Now the european bikes with the best electronics are Husaberg(cause they have jap electronics)

  • Electonics are not their forte for sure, I have had a few late model GasGas bikes and besides me wanting to take a sledge hammer to the carbs it was just small electrical things failing.
