@kimyoonhee123 But if he's an "angel", I still wonder if he expects the state (ergo the people) to pay him for his services, especially for those who are in the hospital.
If he truly donates his services, then I'll be a lot more impressed than if he expects the working people of the state to pay him, by declaring his patients indigent.

Dr. Greer has been my doctor since 1992. I am fortunate to have medical insurance so my medical expenses get covered. But I have referred people to Dr. Greer who have no medical insurance and who cannot afford to pay him anything other than a nominal amount or nothing at all. He sees them and continues to see them without charge. His medical practice is a private practice. He bills and collects from his patients, not through the hospital. People who can't pay are at his own expense.

wow, I cannot express how much people need to realize what this man has just said. "we are dealing with real people, human lives." As a nurse I witness a lot of the so called "healthcare" given in Miami-Dade County, I will not disclose where it is that i work but, if this city was run by doctors like this........you get the picture.

This is it! You don't abandon people because they cannot pay their hospital bill. You take care of people. THEY ARE HUMAN BEINGS! People like Dr. Greer are the heros of this country. Blame the Iluminati for this world's misery.

Many, many American Citizens still work full time jobs and live at or below poverty level. Not all employers offer insurance coverage yet. There are still loopholes, there are many that fall through the cracks. These are people who have been born and raised in this country. Pay taxes to this country, provide a service with their labor and yet, are invisible and have no voice.
This video is emotional and the doc makes some valid statements, but what is missing in this video is the CENTRAL POINT.
What, exactly, is this vid trying to say?
Is it a plea for us to pass Health Care Reform? Is it saying some other money needs to be made available? If so, what, from whom, and raised how? Is this doc donating his time for free, without pay?
This vid points out a problem we all know exists - but what is it proposing be DONE, and HOW?

@Topdoginuk
I'll be much more impressed with him IF I find out he's donating his time, pro bono, to help these people.
If he's still collecting his FAT doctor's salary, but just saying "let the state pay the bill", I would be far less impressed with him. After all, such could hardly be considered "altruism", to say "let somebody else pay my inflated salary".
Sure, we need to do something about health care, but do only the POOR have an answer? What about the uninsured middle class?
