It's The Violin Divas! Here Is The Most Recent Performance Of Our Recreational Violin Group.

Here we are again, the Violin Divas, performing Sunday April 17, 2011, at Professor Mary E. Walton-May and Michelle A. May's annual recital. Each year, my mom and my sister (and myself as well, whenever I have a voice student or two), jointly host a recital at Marygrove College, for their piano (Professor Walton), flute and violin students (Michelle), and for the past few years the Divas have participated as well. We are enjoying tackling increasingly difficult music as we continue to grow as a group. From left to right: Angela (that's me!), Penny, Ruth, Heather, and Lisa. Michelle is directing and playing, Leah Lucas Celebi is accompanying us on the piano (thanks Leah!), and my husband, Richard, shot the video, (with apologies to Penny for her face being partially covered, due to his angle). By the way, whenever he zooms in on me, you can see my mom, Professor Walton, sitting directly behind me, bopping her head and thoroughly enjoying herself!
