White Dress Versus Cannibal Cheerleader Interview

The second in our series of the "Versus" tapes where we interview and/or film live some of our favorite bands that swing through Austin features local blues-rock dynamos White Dress as led by the incredible songstress Arum Rae. The band spoke with us after a recent performance at Trophy's here in Austin. With sexy, sultry vocals and pounding, loud-quiet-loud song structure, the band is a churning and understated as a forever burning underground gas fire - and just about as hot. In attendance at this performance were several local legends, including Britt Daniel of Spoon and Erika Wennerstrom of the Heartless Bastards, all of whom recognize the fiery talent just bubbling over with this fresh new crew.
