I wouldnt of put Perez as clean up
-
I think I'd have to make room for Eric Davis. He hit for power and for avg., and was a solid outfielder.

@jhaketheturtle The pitcher had great stats, but I'd go with Gullett or Rijo. Seaver played for them, but it was late in his run. But Griffey, due largely to age and, mostly, injuries, didn't have much impact with Cinci. I think he was thinking in terms of them be great while with the Reds. If not, then, yeah, ya ogtta put Jr. in there.

@markjames1024 He has Concepcion at 3rd, so no problem there. And how about a vote for Don Gullett as starting pitcher. You know, the guy with the two rings? Loved Soto & Rijo, though. Any of them would be great.

possibly edd roush?

Good line up...except for a few things. Larkin or Concepcion at short, can't have both. Rose at third batting third (Larkin bats second if is chosen or Pinson). Also I would go with Soto, Rijo, Vander Meer or Bucky Walters before Rix. Eppa Rixey played in a very different time than the others and I'm just worried about the guy gettin knocked around and breakin his spirit now a days lol. Good work though

Dave Concepcion 3rd baseman..??......Pete Rose Left field..??....should be Rose in 3rd and George Foster in LF

Thank you very much. I was born and raised in Western Kentucky and I grew up rooting for the Cardinals and following the Reds since they were the only teams on local TV back in the day.
