@bricks69 Icey Ice was the best (in the group) in my opinion. The NYC breakers were good and deserve props for being pioneers. However, their individual routines were repetitive. With the exception of Icey Ice and sometimes Flip Rock, you knew exactly what each one was going to do. Naturally, after awhile, it became boring.

Seriously its true thats how i felt and all my buddies bboys from school we came to a point where there was nothing else to show in a battle same old combination and that was it.

I swear!!! Real Hip Hop is something they have been killing for years.

Damn as a old school b-boy I gotta say that's a good point. I never thought of it like that.

Yusuf: Not only the media but personally I think what really didi it was breaking hit a top at the time, Bboys werent coming up with new moves it was all repetetives moves I remember going to the last competition and guys that were unbeatable weren't breaking cause they knew already what all the other guys were going to do and visa versa so it got old and boring until early 90's when they stepped up to next level and now it is what it is.
pex was my favorite of all nycb, he was allways trying to have a better turtle than bucky from rsc.
