@paulwest58 Limited to 200? Good to know :)

The BMW1200's are limited to 200 km/h too, as in they don't have enough power to do more than that. I had mine at 201 down hill. There are still some 1150's in AK too. It's enough to make a guy cross the ditch and be an aussie cop.

@paulwest58 i was speaking with a motorcycle officer in scotland last year when we were out for a run. he said the beemers are better and more stable at high speeds. said the pan was too unstable because of all the gear you gotta carry. they have phazed it out up here.
however, my m8 has a new pan which he uses for touring, he loves it to bits.
i think the AA still use the pan. ride safe. .......gary

Have to agree, we got fleet of fjr1300 instead of stx's. stx are dangerous but i hear rumours of a 1400 pan going to be released :)

hi paul how are you can you do a video of the bike at night that would be cool.
Hi,
Whats the device attached to the left handle bar. It has lots of buttons on it. Is that the apparatus that gives you the jobs?

That is the radio. It is connected to the helmet by a cord that plugs into a socket on the left side of the fuel tank. There is a press to talk button near the left hand grip.

these have been withdrawn in north wales, uk due to compromised stability at high speeds, were back to the 1100's. what do you think?

We were aware of that, however our bikes have their speed limited at 200 kph. The setup of the equipment on the machine makes it very steady at that speed.
