  • It is interesting to note that many of our finest pianists and musicians throught even the last century do not play this tempo as 'allegro maestoso". It is however, correct, as it is played here. Probably the best example of this by a famous pianist would be Barenboim, in his late 60's recordings for HMV.

  • That cadenza was something out of the late Romantic age- completely out of style, out of context.

    He was alright besides that.. the orchestra sucked..
