Excellen analysis as always. You changed my mind on the early stoppages. I had thought that Koscheck was robbed a bit, but he got clocked and it's not worth the risk. I disagree that "right wing conservatives" are to fear in squelching MMA. Both parties are to be feared. Left wing liberals are all too happy to run the affairs of other and merrily regulate all that they don't understand. The right wingers will do it too, but it's not fair to single out one side.

Nice little review man, when it comes 2 Page I think that 1 of his problems is that he is a little 2 confident in his hands & rightly so. But now his wrestling & ground n pound have taken a step back. he seems 2 never want 2 use it anymore. All we see now more times than not is him wanting 2 stand & KO people while eating leg kicks. he could be a much more dominate fighter if he mixed it up & went for take downs & work a bit of ground n pound like in Pride what do u think

You're absolutely right that it was John McCain who went on the record about "human cockfighting." I had forgotten about that. On the topic of which party would be more likely to over regulate MMA, it's a tough call.

Always good to hear your views, thanks for posting,great point about page, expectancy weighs heavy on his shoulders. As a fan i'll be glad if he is the underdog against winner of rashad/lyoto which i think he will be if either of those win impressively.
