An orsum track from the original Jeff Beck Group. This is on their debut album, Truth. A great example of the late '60s British Blues Rock.

Lyrics:

(Over here)
Let me love you baby,
You're drivin' my poor heart crazy.

Let me love you baby,
You're drivin' my poor heart crazy.

When I'm with you woman,
My whole life seems so hazy.

(Ah, don't you know that)

Baby, when you walk,
You shake just like a willow tree?

(Ah, yes you do, darlin', every time I see ya. Oh!)

Baby, when you walk you know what?
You shake just like a willow tree.

(Know, I know, I know, I know.)

Ooh-ee baby, you sure look so good to me.

(Come on babe ... Yes, I know it ... Yeah)

Baby when you walk,
You shake like a willow tree.

(You oughta know that by now.)

Baby when you walk,
You shake like a willow tree.

And ooh-ee baby, you sure look so good to me.

(Easy with this one)

Let me love you baby,
Love you baby.

Know, I know, I know.

Let me love you baby.

Ah you let me love you ... What you got.

Let me love you baby.

Love you baby.

Any old way you choose it.

I don't mind what time you call, (Ah, ah, yeah)

You're drivin' my poor heart crazy.

Let me love you baby.

Love you baby.

Early in the mornin' time.

Later in the evenin'.

Let me love you baby,
You're drivin' my poor heart ... crazy.

  • one of the FIRST, and all time HEAVIEST LP's of ALL TIME...rock and roll was just entering the "psychedelic" era, lots of changes in the 65-67 era, old bands evolving into heavy guitar laden tuneage, with Cream and all the others that followed...IMHO this album was THEE cream-of-the first crop of "underground radio" LP's from the late 60's....

  • I was a senior in high school and we would listen to music at lunch time in the cafateria you know at the time motown beatles stones ets. I worked part time in a record store after school heard this and brought it to school blew everyone away they just froze and listened and asked who the fuck is this way way ahead of its time

  • @BobBerkeley True-it's also a bit like Strange Brew by Cream(also Albert King inspired).

  • "Truth' is one of my favorite Rock Albums ever made...period!

  • Classic masterpiece !

  • @vigilanteimplacable Sad but true,my friend. But I would not say that he actually "stole it",more like "emulated out of inspiration". Matter of fact, even Jimmy considers Jeff a superior guitarist.

  • @saiyan135 how about 10 m0:00re times...?

  • I'm a Zeppelin fan.

But Page stole this sound to make zepp!

He does the same guitars that beck does!

  • This is one of Elliot Eastons favorite songs. (lead guitarist for The Cars)

  • great album. stewart and beck at their best.
