i have read and listened to so many waters interviews and the questions are always the same. i was not going to bother with this one except i love howard.this is by far the best interview. no question. insightful and honest and asked the questions i wanted to hear for decades. finally a peak into the psyche of the musical genius. fantastic!

@Christglen I think this is the perfect interview to show how Howard has an amazing ability to get people to open up during interviews on his show. I'm really hoping Roger comes back and does another interview. 99% of RW interviews are boring. Like he intentionally refuses to say anything besides the same ole stuff, over and over. This interview was quite unexpected.

Doing a new record or a big tour is like going back to a painful place. I think Roger is BEST on is own. And ironically after Dave put the Pink Floyd brand name away for good, the popularity of Roger's solo tours grew and grew. Now his shows are more popular than ever! It worked out for the best!

One of Howard Stern's big strengths is giving great interviews and asking probing questions!  Howard kept pushing the feud thing of Roger and Dave, but in reality there is no more feud! After Bob Geldof talked them into putting aside their differences and doing Live Aide, the resentments and tensions have more or less melted away! They've gotten together several times since to play little one off gigs together. I dont think either of them wants to push it, there's peace with the band!
