Although elvis was really famous and popular, and is still remembered today, Michael was truly universaival, you can go to any country in this world... The biggest differrence between Elvis and Mike was Mike never stole songs from anybody. Everything came from him. As oppose to Elvis who took songs that mostly black artist made (in my opion) and got rich and famous from lyrics that didnt belong to him. Michael was very original. Elvis wasnt.

if u ask a 3year old kid to sing elvis or the beatles they and gone know them
but if u ask a 3year kid to sing MICHEAL JACKSON they will know at least 2 of his songs
