On the weekend of September 12 & 13, 2009, civil rights activists gathered at the USC campus to take part in OUT West Campaign Boot Camp, a series of workshops and discussions on how to campaign for Marriage Equality in California.
The keynote speaker was Christine Pelosi, daughter of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and the author of "Campaign Boot Camp", which the weekend's events where patterned upon. Reverend Eric Lee of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference spoke on the differences between the LGBT struggle of today and the civil rights struggle African-Americans faced in last century.

Great video Mike, thanks for putting this together. I am surprised how well you captured the essence of the whole weekend in less than 10 minutes.

Thanks so much. I was glad I could be the fly-on-the-wall, watching this fascinating and inspirational event. I hope many more Campaign Boot Camps will follow.
