I always liked them but I always thought Paul was a much better skater of the two. They should have been pair skaters instead of ice dancers.

They're good, but - in my opinion the right couple, Marina Klimova and Sergei Ponomarenko, won the gold.

Glad I found this version with their interview. I do agree Paul was the stronger skater. They are one of the few couples (dance or pair) where all my attention went towards him (apart from the fact that he's very easy on the eyes..wow!) He was an excellent athelete and partnered his sister well. Too bad they didnt win gold but they accomplished so much for the sport. Miss watching them skate a lot. One of my all time favorite dance teams.

what an incredible skater paul is...and very sexy;-)

great moves, but a little loose. Sometimes playing it too safe is a bad thing, especially with this theatrical couple. T & D did the same 2 years later with the same results.

I love love love the Duchesnays-the are one of my all time favorite Ice Dance team and they had the best showmanship of all the teams in their day- but this was not Broadway On Ice it was the Olympics. All the Russian teams were superior athletes imo.

very clever number...waht a shame she was not on her top...
I love the Duchesnays-especially Paul and what they did in shaking up the " set in stone," rules and competitors. But he was the better skater. Too many things going on between Munich 1991 and 1992-
she wasn't competition ready, Exactly right. Paul held this free dance together-she did her part but losing a brother, then a wedding, the Olympics-it was too much. It'd be too much for anybody. Bless them both.

The problem was that klimova/ponomarenko made the best program ever!
