  • The name of the device is Pog. If you don't remember, there was a huge craze during the 90s of little cardboard discs called "pogs" kids would collect and play with. There were also big metal discs called slammers you would throw at a stack of pogs. So he's saying the "pog" is the "slammer" of your rig. It's an old-timey reference.

  • there are such things as double cutaway Les Pauls. However, this is not one of them. You're right.
