Hunger is written and directed by Steve McQueen and co-written by Enda Walsh, starring Michael Fassbender, Brian Milligan, and Liam McMahon. For my in-depth written review: http://www.criticnic.com/2010/03/hunger-2008/

  • @AbbottDorothy thanks so much for your comment! yeah I can only imagine what that would have been like experiencing that. I definitely recommend this one though. thanks again!

  • @criticnic What an excellent review! I've been putting off watching this movie because I know how emotive it is. I was a child when this took place, and I remember posters of Bobby Sands around our town when he was on hunger strike, and was upset when my parents explained to me what it was all about. Michael Fassbender is such an excellent actor, and so versatile. I'm following his career with great interest. Liam Cunningham (the priest) is great also. Keep up the good work on your reviews!

  • @hallistra24 I'm definitely interested in seeing more, so that would be great! thanks again :)

  • @halistra24 I can't recommend it enough. I do find your history to be fascinating, and makes for some really good movies from what I've seen. Let me know what you think of it. Thanks as always for your comments!

  • @SCOTTISHFILMFAN I can't recommend this one enough, very simplistic yet makes a huge impact. Fassbender really is great, will have to check out Eden Lake. Thanks for your comment!
