Thought I'd try to "hide" the helmet a bit, by pulling the bearskin head over the top...gives it a strange look for sure.

  • His (Odin's) men rushed forward without armor, were as mad as dogs or wolves, bit their shields, and were as strong as bears or wild bulls, and killed people at a blow, but neither fire nor iron told upon themselves.

  • Hey, Skallagrimm, could you make a video were the berserkr uses a spear, it's a traditional weapon for one... I saw an ancient bronze plate found at oland where the berserkr uses a spear... Just a suggestion. Thanks,

  • Bearman rocks!

  • Karhunpeijaiset time!!! =D

  • @The111DooD : Well yes they did use a variety of weapons, but the point of a berserk was to scare the enemy like hell, and a large axe was the perfect way to do that. I'm sure it did depends on the berserks particular likings though.

  • @Halofreakanoid I think by popular opinion it is. But I'm also fairly sure that there are drawings/pieces of art from the time period that show Berserkers that all used spears.

  • @norioronin : I was fairly certain that the traditional weapons for a berserk was a two handed axe.

  • Odin be with you Skallagrimm.. Really cool vids.. I've bin watching themover the times!
