Rain in Kyoto

I was woken up at about 8am today by a thunderbolt. I sleep with earplugs, so by "thunderbolt," I mean "huge effing thunderbolt that left my window shaking for several seconds."

So I woke up and took a video of the rain pouring down so hard that the gutters were overflowing in multiple places and sheets of water were cascading down the driveway.

And then about 10 minutes later it completely stopped and turned sunny and 72.

Japan is ridiculous.
