Politics is difficult but some things are very simple, (not "easy.") This is one.
Every project requires money including war, and when the dominant party relies on crucial votes from the opposition party to fund any of their pet projects, those votes can be used as leverage to make all kinds of things happen. It's done in democratic governments all over the world.

lol dood the Shaw was a bad person tho , he fled Iran and the US gave him asylum to treat his " cancer" , because the Shaw slaughtered many opposed to his rule , the iranian people wanted revenge but were denied , so they blamed the US , this is a example of why you stay out of other nations business in the first place.

Hell must have frozen over! Obama now says the surge was successful? Yeah like he had anything to do with its success haha.
Obama is the LAST person who should be taking any credit for the surge. He has proven once again that he is not fit to lead this great country.
