Gangway: Once Bitten, Twice Shy

Danish pop group Gangway's infamous, self-financed promo clip for the 7" single "Once Bitten, Twice Shy" (Irmgardz, 1985). Affectionately known as "the sausage video", the production was modestly budgetted at 600 DKK (about £50). It ended up costing an additional 200 DKK. The video was never shown in its full length on Danish television due to its "destructive nature". Director: Asger Larsen.

Yeah, but the real tragedy lies in the fact that their piece of shit record company Polygram screw them over and their UK breakthrough was never promoted and worked on as intended.

Gangway tried making their way to the uk-charts with "sitting in the park again" - a remake of their great album: "sitting in the park". Sadly the remake was a piece of crap.
