check out x mini happy,x mini max 2,x mini 2,skullcandy pipe,surround xi...these are one of my speaker collection they are made in china but design in singapore.and its louder and cheaper that this speaker...you should check them out speasially "surround xi"

i bought one of these. i own several types of portable speakers, and these have to be the worst (by far) that i have ever heard at any volume. actually it sounds better when turned off.
