A few months ago I spent two days filming and editing this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFeUyfo8x6o . So far, it has gotten less than 400 views. However, the video "Watching Paint Dry" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1VEY7ndKCs) has gotten 77K views, and another video that shows grass growing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LR-Eozbzf0U) has gotten 3K thus far.

It got me thinking what other pointless videos can get thousands of views on YouTube. So I spent exactly 3 minutes setting up and filming this masterpiece, and now we'll just have to wait and see how many thousands of you out there will watch this video. Consider this my protest! :)

My apologies to YouTube for wasting their bandwidth with this one.

  • LOL, I have sum BIG bubble warp here xD I mean, the bubbles are really amazing big and it makes so much fun popping them :D GO bubble warp :))

  • Wow, 5K views. I enjoy the point you are making. It goes even deeper than this though. Not even to the extent of youtube, but entire media as a whole. People spend billions of dollars a year on entertainment industries such as basketball or football, when, while the sport is tough, sure, it doesn't deserve the hundreds of millions the people get to play it. Meanwhile, hardworking people, with jobs that make an actual difference in the world are very underpaid. Thanks for this protest.
