@NecessaryKnowledge - I've never had any problem with my Brooks saddles. I have rain covers but I don't always remember to use them.

I love riding my Dutch bike when the weather is wet... The Internal gear hub, full chain case and front hub generator make the wetest weahter fun... Oh, and of course along with my English cycling rain cape... The only problem - it never rains enough...

I love riding in the rain. If anything, there are fewer pedestrians and most cars tend to drive slower in the city.

You are an setting a great example. When people ask me what happens when it rains, I tell them I get wet. During the hot summer months I like riding in the rain. I have been caught by both hail and thunder storms.
