A tragic case of 'guitarface', but redeemed by superb playing. Beautifully done, well recorded & nice Collings too!

Why weep ye by the tide, lady, why weep ye by the tide?

I was driving home from work last night and heard this ballad on Radio 2. I was struck by the words Hazeldeane as I have a friend named Hazel Deane! I have posted a link to the Corries version to her. I have since been listening through other versions and yours is beautiful. I just have it on repeat.

Thank you so much! A wonderful playing, and an excellent resource for me to learn with!
I really like the sound of you Collings. How did you record this?

This one was recorded with an Audio Technica 4050 directly into a camcorder (using an attenuator) with a little reverb in the loop.
