US First Robotics 2009 Team 2202 Prototype Test 1

In this test, we attempted to combine 2 of our 3-part ball
launching system, with a sweeper sweeping balls towards our conveyor belt, which takes care of the rest.

where did u get the idea for your robot design?

For everything

For the conveyor belt, we've seen many teams using them with a great deal of success, and so we decided to try it ourselves

We used the idea of a vacuum bristle for the sweeper, and moved on with that to get the design we have now

The frame design was made out of necessity, as we needed room for balls to enter the two mechanisms

As a side note, what is not pictured is the final section is a launcher placed in front of the conveyor belt, which will be able to be rotated manually

my team tried the tubing but i guess we didnt use enough so we got a V belt and it works like a CHARM. only one belt and a curved back for the conveyer works amazing.
