East Columbus Family Dollar Robbery

an Armed Robbery that occurred on the East side of Columbus. On Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at approximately 9:00pm, an unknown male entered the Family Dollar store located at 3577 E. Livingston Ave. The suspect approached the cashier, produced a silver revolver, and demanded money from the cash register. The clerk complied and handed over an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect then fled on foot across E. Livingston Ave. and into the Colonial Village Apartments.The suspect is described as: Male/Black, 25-35, 5′10″, 200lbs, scraggly beard, wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, white tennis shoes, and sunglasses.

Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000.00 for any information received by August 12, 2009, leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.
