Based on the 1978 hurricane season descriptions available at wikipedia plus the 1978 calendar, I am 99 percent sure that this weathercast was recorded on Monday, September 4, 1978. 32 Alive must haved aired a Labor Day telethon back then.
John Belski was the main weather anchor beginning in the spring of 1979.
