This video describes how to use Singularity Experience iPhone app to pick optimal bed time, wake up time, and to learn when you will be dreaming. The key to doing this is understanding sleep cycles: the periodic 90 minute changes that your body goes through over the course of the night.
By rotating the outer dial, you can at a glance estimate when you will be dreaming, and when it would be easiest to get out of bed.
