@valleyvfdfirefighter we did do a pickoff as you suggested. We used the diaper to simulate if our victim was on a normal/broken harness with minor injuries. Besides this video dosn't mention these are pre-service firefighters in a level 1 high angle course...

wasted valuable time with putting on the diaper. He already had a class 3 harness on. should of hooked right into his harness with your pickoff strap, and belay line and released him into your system. Could of been down that wall in a quarter of the time!!!!

also...had he of had a head contusion he would have bled out by now...i have my fall arest and rop/bucket rescue u need to have had this done and on the ground in less then 3 minutes!
