Surgery for Breast Cancer: Reconstruction

Over the last few weeks i've had my Becker implant gradually inflated to give me a natural looking reconstructed breast; i'm really pleased with the results so far!

Katie, Your video blogs are SO helpful for me to watch, as I am just beginning a similar journey as what you have experienced in 2011. I am quite a bit older than you, but yet still sort of young for this to be happening to me as well, and very scary. Thank you for being so brave as to create these video blogs, I can't tell you how much more calm I feel today after seeing how you made it through this.

Hi Katie, I am awaiting to get my results tomorrow after a 3 week wait over christmas and new year. I am also 21 and a single mum so a very scarey process. You have really put my mind at ease for what may happen. Good Luck with your journey and please keep raising awareness! You are so inspiring!!

I was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer the start of april this year and the more I hear about your story through these posts that I am catching up on the more I thank muself that I was diagnosed so early. I had my right testicle removed and a "fake" fitted and had 2 courses of chemo and im 99% chance of being cured now. The amount of surgery and chemo youve gone through must be so difficult but the way your handling it all is fantastic!
