Los Niños de Sara - La Cubanita - The Cuban

Los Niños de Sara son cuatro gitanos franceses de origen español, quienes viven en Montpellier, Francia, también han trabajado en el grupo Alabina con la cantante Ishtar. También se llaman simplemente Los Niños.
Son primos y han tocado juntos desde tener 14 años. Comparado a los Gipsy Kings y Almaritano, el grupo combina música rumba y flamenca con influencia norteafricana.

Los primos se llaman Antonio ("Tonio") Contreras, Ramón Compas, Santiago ("Santi") Lorente y Coco. Aunque hablan español y francés, solamente cantan en español. Tonio toca la guitarra y canta. Ramón y Santi tocan la guitarra y Coco toca los instrumentos de percusión. Las canciones frecuentemente tratan de familia, amor y Dios.

En 2007, se dieron a conocer principalmente al público norteamericano, por la inclusión de las canciones "La cubanita", "Una muchacha" y "Vagabundo", en la película "Gran Stan" ("Big Stan" en inglés) de Rob Schneider.

Sara Children are four Spanish-born French gypsies, who live in Montpellier, France, have also worked in the group with singer Ishtar Alabina. Also called simply The Children.
They are cousins and have been playing together since age 14. Compared to the Gipsy Kings and Almaritano, the group combines rumba and flamenco music with North African influence.

The cousins are named Antonio ("Tonio") Contreras, Ramón Compas, Santiago ("Santi") Lorente, and Coco. Although Spanish and French speaking, but sing in Spanish. Tonio plays guitar and sings. Ramón and Santi play guitar and Coco plays percussion instruments. The songs often deal with family, love and God.

In 2007, became known mainly to the American public, by the inclusion of the song "La Cubanita", "A Girl" and "Tramp" in the movie "Big Stan" by Rob Schneider .
