My company, Educo webdesign (http://www.educowebdesign.com) was commissioned to make a superhero character for our clients Mz. Tisa, a Las Vegas musician. I wanted to take this opportunity to slow things down a little bit and try to put together a few of my techniques for blending and coloring.

I was rapidly approaching and overstepping my deadline, so I had to stop recording on the coloring section because it slows down my computer, but I did manage to grab this clip and the previous one with the lineart.

The brush set I use in this video is:

Thanks to all my new subscribers!! I love you guys and I know things have been slow, but I'm carving out some time to do some Disney tween caricatures (Jo Bros, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, etc...) because they have hilarious faces and would be great to teach caricature styles. I'm also putting together a Ron and Hermoine fanart to show how to blend photorealistic faces with cartoon style, and I'm going to record the animation process for my website avatar for a flash how-to video. Up next will be a quick Photoshop basics video to show you how I set up my workspace and to go over some essential shortcuts.

  • I need help;

    I don't have the lasso tool. It's gone, I have the magnetic lasso tool, and I've been searching for the regular one, but I just don't have it. I'm kind of freaking out. :1 Can you please reply?

  • @ForgottenDreamzy try hitting Shift+L to toggle through the lasso tool options or click and hold on the magnetic lasso tool until you see the 3 options pop out to the right. Let me know if that works!

  • thiz is superb,......... thank you.........

  • @anishrajmmmm You're welcome!!

  • @chrisknowsthis I can't find the brush download in the link you gave .

  • @commentbox123 It's in his gallery > Tutorials and Resources > My Brush Pack. The direct link is deviantart-dot-com/download/118954791/My_Brush_Pack_by_adonihs.zip (replace the -dot- with an actual dot because youtube doesn't allow links in comments)
