@EmilyTuverson well if your eyeshadow usually creases it's because you have oily lids. so from experience, i guess.

For those asking, my understanding in the difference between bases&primers is that primers are more to up the longevity/wear of eyeshadows and to make for consistent application. Bases are more for putting a bit of a 'boost' to colors to up their vibrancy or to change their undertones (put blue under purple to make it 'blurple', for instance). However, you can definitely use one w/o the other, for the most part. Basically they're both cream products that help you get better use out of shadows :)

@briannagoboom i was hoping for the same thing

How do you know if you have oily lids or not?

i got the too faced shadow insurance because i trust your opinion more than any other guru.

Could you possibly do a video on the differences b/w bases and primers? thanks :)

UD makes a tube one as well o.o

I think that you should do an update bases video. Maybe you could be a little more prepared, urban decay has changed their packaging (the wand is bent), NYX has their J. E. pencils, etc.

What about NYX eyeshadow base?

The wand helps, but not that much. YES, you can get SOME more of the product from the wide part of the bottle, but it does not help to get the product from the base. Urban Decay would have been better off changing their packaging, or making the cylinder of product separate then the "genie bottle" and would make everyone happier.
