President arrives in Libya 31st August 2009

President Rajapakse arrived in Libya to a warm welcome tonight. The Libyans were able to see the amazing leader of the universe who routed the worlds deadliest terrorism..
Sudharman Radaliyagoda reporting on President R0ajapaksas Libyan tour said Libya had made all arrangements commemorate their 40th National Day. It was on 1st September 1969 that Libyan Leader Muammar Al Aadaffi came to power. It is being commemorated as their National Day. Six African Leaders and three Asian Leaders including Sri Lanka, Pakistan and the Philippines are invited for the function. President Rajapakse will have a special place as the Libyan media had described him as the leader who defeated the most ruthless terrorism in the world. The President arrived at the Vatica Airport in Tripoli. Arrangements were in place to welcome the foreign delegates. The President will have bi-lateral talks with the Philippines President and the Pakistani Prime Minister tomorrow morning. The Libyan National Day commemoration will be held 8.00 p.m. Sri Lanka time. All TV channels in Sri Lanka will telecast the proceedings tomorrow.
