My favourite cover of Antarctica by Vangelis. Russel B is like Ed Starink, in that he covers dozens of synthesizer hits. Many time people feel that these covers do not do the original songs justice.
However, I personally prefer this version over the original. The instruments in the original sound too dated for me, and almost embarrassing. This version sounds a bit more modern, and the instruments pack more punch than the original.

Thanks for sharing. I've only heard 30 second samples of this cover, so I've been reluctant to purchase it. I'll get it now. I still prefer the original Vangelis version, and it's doesn't sound dated to me. Any more Russel B covers you can recommend?

@VideoCloud Russel B's versions of Crockett's Theme, Equinoxe, Bilitis, Apocalypse Des Animaux, To The Unknown Man, and Hymne are also good. He also has a couple originals under the name "Ruseler" called Sunday and Mountain Dust, which aren't bad either.
