No it doesn't harm your computer unless you put it in Startup file (start, all programs, startup)

If you save the notepad document as a .bat file (run in cmd) when you open it the virus will work. If you want to have it when the computer starts up click start, all programs, startup and put it on that folder.

A virus doesn't need a high level language like C++ C# or C ect.

It just needs the capability to spread and multiply.

If you download the exe from my video and run it, you'll see a true batch file virus and it will spread overtime. Run it in sandboxie or virtual pc though, i take no responsibility whatsoever if u run it on ur comp and not in a enclosed area.

These are harmful scripts, which suck, but will never be a virus. I virus would have to be compiled because in order to be a virus it would have to be written in a real programming language, such as C, C++, Java, etc. (however you will never see a Java virus.)

It also has to duplicate within files, like a virus has to duplicate within cells (that's where it got its name.)

i got something better go to note pad and type in

start iexplore

then save it as virus.bat it will keep opening internet explorers until the computer crashes
